League matches-
Rhodes ’B’s’ lead at the top of the A Division was cut, but only by
˝ point as they lost 8-7˝  at Cheetham Hill. John Blezzard won 21-3 but not even this score could overcame their 10 chalk handicap and lost the aggregate 173-164. On the same night Cheetham Hill lost the opportunity to really close the gapto Rhodes when they could only collect six points at Connolly’s. With only four individual wins the ’Hill’ lost the aggregate 183-168, and are still 10˝ points behind Rhodes having played a game more.
HBCC had five winners at Rhodes ‘A’ and with Mark Gibbons winning 21-5 they took the aggregate 172-158 and collected 10˝ points to go third in the table. With Ian Johnston not playing only steve Copeland and Ged Smalley now have 100% records in the A Division

The Grove extended their lead at the top of the B Division when they  defeated Woodside 13˝ - 3. 21-3 and 21-2 wins from Ray Tracey and Tom McCaffery helped the leaders to a 203-129 aggregate win.

Middleton Cons ‘A’ moved into second place with an 11-3 home win over Cheetham Hill ‘B’.  B.Foster’s 21-3 was the  best individual score as Middleton took the aggregate 196-121. The two players with 100% records, Mike Kankansas and John Hall, kept their records with 21-15 and 21-11 wins.
